Many of us carry silent battles with our bodies, stories shaped by comparison, shame, judgment, and unrealistic ideals. These stories live deep in our muscles, our breath, our nervous system and sometimes, words just aren’t enough to untangle it.

 

This 2-hour course offers a different path. One that begins not with fixing your body, but feeling it. Listening to it. Moving with it.

What This Course Offers

 

This is not about performance, dance technique, or looking a certain way. It’s about using movement as a tool for emotional awareness and integration.

 

Through gentle, guided exercises grounded in neuroscience, psychology, and somatic awareness, you’ll begin to explore the layers of your self-perception, and gently reshape them.

 

Together, we’ll explore:

 

Understanding Body Image

We’ll talk about what body image really is, from a psychological and neuroscientific perspective and how it shapes our thoughts, emotions, and identity.

 

Movement as an Explorative Tool

No dance experience needed. Just your body, as it is. You’ll be guided through simple but powerful movement practices that help reconnect you with your body from a place of kindness, curiosity, and compassion.

 

Embodied Self-Awareness

Learn how movement influences your nervous system and emotional patterns. Discover how to work with your body, not against it through practices rooted in embodied cognition and somatic psychology.

 

What You’ll Walk Away With:

  • A new and completely different relationship with your body

  • Tools to shift self-critical thoughts into embodied self-awareness

  • Techniques you can use in daily life to ground yourself and reconnect when old patterns arise

  • A deeper sense of agency, softness, and wholeness—in both body and mind
